Placement

Since the first passing batch, a large number of our students qualify NET, GATE and other competitive examinations every year while others go on to join national laboratories of importance such as TIFR, BARC, DRDO, CSIR etc. as scientists. In the last 5 years, 45 of our students have qualified NET/SLET/JRF, while 40 have qualified GATE. Many of our Masters students opt for higher studies at prestigious places in India and abroad. Recently 7 of our students have been selected to pursue Ph.D. at IITs and TIFR. The rest of the students take up teaching jobs, tech-related jobs in the private sector, or join government and private sector banks. Many have taken faculty positions at various polytechnic institutes, government and private colleges, engineering colleges and at the university level. In the last 5 years, 20 of our students have been selected as Assistant Professor at college cadre level through HPSC. The updated information on placement can be found in department profile.
