Welcome to Department of Food Technology
The Department of Food Technology at Guru Jambheshwar University Science & Technology, Hisar has been laying emphasis on quality education and training activities to meet growing demand of food processing industries in addition to pioneering the development of innovative technologies for conservation and processing of raw foods with value addition. The Department of Food Technology at GJUS&T Hisar offers a range of programs, including B.Tech. (Food Tech.) ,B.Voc (Food Processing and Engineering), Integrated B.Sc (Hons. /Hons. with Research)-M.Sc , M.Sc and M.Tech in Food Technology, and Ph.D in Food Technology. With a strong focus on practical training, the department is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories facilities, providing hands-on experience through internships and industry collaborations. Graduates have vast career opportunities in food processing, quality control, research, and development, with strong placement support helping them secure jobs in leading food companies and research institutions, making it a promising field with a bright future.
