Welcome to Department of Computer Science & Engineering
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is a pioneering academic centre for education at undergraduate and post graduate level. The Department has grown many folds in academics and infra-structure since its inception. The Department has qualified and experienced faculty. Strong research groups exist in the area of Data Mining, Soft Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Ad-hoc Mobile Networks, Network Security, Software Engineering and Image Processing. The increasing number of good research publications in International Journals and Conference proceedings of great repute is a welcome sign of the growing research activities of the Department. UGC has recognized the academic and research achievements of the Department and recommended it under its Special Assistance Programme (SAP-Phase II).
